Open Veterinary Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to the publication and global dissemination of high-quality research across all areas of veterinary science and animal health. The journal provides an international forum for veterinarians, scientists, and academics to share original research, reviews, and scholarly insights that advance veterinary knowledge and practice.

Open Veterinary Journal covers a broad range of disciplines, including but not limited to veterinary medicine and surgery, pathology, parasitology, microbiology, epidemiology, public and One Health, animal nutrition, reproduction, animal biology, genetics, and biotechnology. Contributions addressing animal welfare, disease prevention and control, diagnostics, therapeutics, and evidence-based clinical practice are particularly encouraged.

Open Veterinary Journal places strong emphasis on interdisciplinary and translational research, especially studies integrating innovative biotechnological, molecular, and data-driven approaches to improve animal health, productivity, and sustainability. Research with implications for zoonotic diseases, food safety, environmental health, and comparative medicine is also welcomed.

By promoting open access, scientific rigor, and international collaboration, Open Veterinary Journal aims to advance veterinary science, support informed decision-making in animal health, and facilitate the translation of cutting-edge research into clinical and field applications worldwide.
